Blue Ridge Music Centre#1, Virginia

Drove along the Blue Ridge, stopping at Galax in Tennessee for lunch. Awesome scenery and a beautiful drive through the trees but rhododendrons not yet in bloom. The Blue Ridge looks stunning from almost every angle and there are plenty of places to stop to appreciate it. We stopped at a reconstruction of a tiny hut and Baptist Church which was used by travelling preachers. These are maintained by the National Parks service and are always in immaculate condition and never vandalised in any way.Read more
