We're now in The Big Apple! Our hotel is pretty good for NYC - has a small kitchenette and a good bathroom and a huge king-size bed. Went looking for Bens Deli, a kosher deli in the garment district. Had chicken soup with matzo ball and pastrami and corned beef on rye - typical Jewish food. Not a patch on what we've been eating over the past two weeks! There were stores everywhere in this area selling shelves and shelves of beads, buttons and trims of all colours and styles along with lots of fabric stores. Continued walking and came to Times Square. On the way back we found the theatre where Les Miserables is playing and will book tickets later. Found a liquor store and bought some wine to have in our room.Leia mais
