Orchard road, Singapore

This morning we had a leisurely breakfast waiting for the rain to stop. Finally it cleared around 10:30am and off we taxied to Orchard Road. This was a sentimental journey as we had visited 30 Years or so previously.

It was very busy with traffic and people, with many changes notably the underground walk through under intersections. Not having to negotiate busy roads was brilliant. Bob needed to check out the newly opened Apple store which was so large and spacious with multiple levels. There was a group of very ping children taking lessons on one of the upper floors. The space was amazing with some fabulous images on an enormous all screen. We looked through some of the large department stores and after having a coffee decided to go back to the hotel.Read more
