Sailing to Dar Es Salaam

For a week we have been day sailing our way south down the coast of Tanzania from Dar Es Salaam. We were repeatedly warned about how hard this would be with a counter current and likely unfavorable winds. Thankfully the current has been a non-issue and the winds have beamed us along! It still calls for vigilant sailing as we are always dodging reefs, sand bars, and fishing nets. There have been other issues but I will share those later. 🤪⛵🪨💪Read more
