Lake Bled

Spent the day at beautiful Lake Bled, much busier and more tourist centred than where we are staying at Bohinj. Bled Castle sits on a lofty height above the lake and in the middle of the lake on an island sits The Pilgrimage Church of the Assumption of Mary. As it's an Eco lake we travelled to the island on a row boat called a Pletna which is an alpine boat for 18 People and rowed at the back by an ores man.
