La Vélodyssée Pt. 2

Nikolas, whom I met yesterday, is taking a different route today, so we split up again.

Nothing really interesting happens on this section of the Vélodyssée.
I cycle through an endless forest (that's how I imagine Finland), up and down a little, then a little left, a little right. And again from the beginning. For hours.
Luckily it is still drizzling. 🤪

In the afternoon I stop at a supermarket. After my shopping, a new rain shower awaits me outside. The internet connection has just been interrupted, therefore I can't check how long it will last.
So I stand in the foyer and read a book. There are moments like that. 🤷‍♂️

In the evening I take a ferry and meet Simon - a lawyer-to-be from Cologne. We get on well and because he has dragged his tent through half of France and then spent every night in overpriced youth hostels, I show him how easy wild camping is.
The next day we drive to Bordeaux together, where he stays in a youth hostel he has already booked and I look for a nice spot in the forest. Everybody has his own preferences 😄Read more
