Sevilla Cathedral

In one of the hostels I stay in, I meet Roberto from Chile, who has been travelling through Europe for several months.
He has a soft spot for photography and design, and we go to see the cathedral together. It is the largest Gothic church in Spain and one of the largest churches in the world. It looks enormous from the outside and it's easy to get lost inside.

We easily exceed the recommended 90-minute stay and take great photos of the ornaments (gargoyles!!🐲) and the abundant gold. Unfortunately a bit too lavishly used in my eyes, but it's not my flat after all 😀.

PS: Chistopher Columbus is buried here. He is carried by four people symbolising the kingdoms of Castile, León, Aragon and Navarre.Читать далее
