    Technically, according to Wikipedia, “Japan's northernmost point is disputed, because Japan considers it to be on Iturup [one of the southern Kuril islands], an island de facto governed by Russia.” However, they did build the monument here, and, also here, are the northernmost public toilets in Japan (and that’s based on an even more reputable source: Google Maps).Read more
