Santander (airport 😅✈️)

Same choppy recipe as yesterday to get to Santander. I'm feeling sick again and Bart is doing great. We might have left Basque Country, but one beautiful cape and rocks keeps following another. We throw out our fishing gear again, but still don't catch anything. When we get closer to Santander we see the Magdalen castle appearing on a rock (used to be the summer home for the Spanish royal family). Behind it the city of Santander slowly appears to us. The harbour in the city unfortunately does not have any room for visitors. This means we have two options: anchor of keep going down the river to the marina near the airport. Since we have an early morning and very long (70nm) ahead of us we decide to go for a peaceful night in the marina. Luckily only a few planes departed and arrived after we docked. We were too tired to travel, it would take us more than an hour, to Santander. Also, we already saw a lot of the city passing by😉Weiterlesen
