Walk in Sept, we thought it would be cooler. So pleased there is no rain forecast 😀😀

Paradise Farm to Cote Ghyll

Leisurely morning today as we had to wait for the farm shop to open to get breakfast. The nearest stop is 10 miles away so fuel for the body is a must. The walk is more taxing due to the heat than anything. There was a welcome breeze at 1300ft and some woodland shaded areas. Roger has blisters forming so slow and steady is the plan for today.
We met Avril again today and stopped for a chat. Interesting lady. Now we are inside the pub (560 ft) with ice cold cokes 🧋Our campsite is only a mile further on so this is us for today else we would need to cover another 10 miles or so before coming to the next village with no guarantee of food or lodgings.Читать далее
