This is my second time traveling in Vietnam and I felt that by having night bus to go to the next destination is thebest choice. We can rest and sleep in the bus and it will less cost for the accommodation. We took night bus from Danang to Dong Hoi (pronounced as Dom Hhoi by the locals)

Bus departed around 930pm and expected to arrive at 4am. But the bus was so fast and we arrived at Dong Hoi at 2am. The bus just stopped us at the road side, middle of nowhere. Very lucky Haza got internet connection and we directly map it to nearest bus station. All shops were closed and the weather seriously cold. We managed to go to the nearesr bus station after 10 minutes walking while carrying our 10kg backpack, but it was fine for us. Once reached the bus station we found it very clean and we decided to sleep outside. I seriously could not make myself sleep, it deadly cold for me.

Around 430am the bus station opened by a guard. He's really nice and asking us where we go. We told him our next destination is to Phong Nha, he gave us the direction to wait for the bus. Then, we frenshen up ourselves and having hot drinks at the coffee shop.

We proceed waiting the bus at the road side out from the bus station. Most of the taxi drivers stopped at us to invite us take their taxi but we refused. Finally we managed to catch a bus to Phong Nha costly 50,000 VMD (included 10,000VMD by having our big backpack, so extra charge)

Accidently I sat next to the bus door. The weather become colder as we travel up to the north. It was so foggy along the way from Dong Hoi to Phong Nha.Leggi altro
