This diamond mine was operational after the 1st world war until the depression and then again after the 2nd world war. At that time they were getting 10 Shillings per carat 😨

After a last meal with our fellow travellers, we left the misty weather in Walvis and headed for the Spitzkoppe.
We spent our last night here with Dani, Armando, Matt and Claire.
