    Last post for this trip

    September 19, 2017 in the United Kingdom ⋅ ☀️ 14 °C

A great trip spent with special friends, driving through the beautiful English, Welsh and Scottish countryside and villages, enjoying the local beer and even visiting a castle 😊

Apologies to those I missed this time, but already planning the next visit 🙄, so I hope to get to see you all next year.

Now can't wait to get home to my furkids. Thanks to my special sister and brother-in-law for "puppy sitting" 💜😗

    The Yorkshire Dales

    September 18, 2017 in the United Kingdom ⋅ ⛅ 12 °C

    More beautiful countryside.

If asked, I'd be hard pushed to select a favourite. So many gorgeous country villages and hamlets with wide open spaces and rollings hill's and forests 💜

    Scottish farm creatures

    September 17, 2017 in the United Kingdom ⋅ ☁️ 6 °C

Galloway Belted cattle, Highland cow, black-faced sheep and a sheep waiting to make a phone call at a Red Phonebooth 😂😂
The cell coverage is so poor in much of the Scottish countryside, no wonder they still have working phonebooths 🤤😃

Farewell Scotland, we'll definitely be back 💜

Despite the rain, we loved the tiny remote villages with their narrow roads with their "Passing Places", the beautiful scenery, the friendly people and rich countryside.

Our last night on our "bumble" was spent at the Black Bull Hotel in Wark. Tonight we're staying with the Williams family in Meriden Coventry, before we head home tomorrow evening.Read more
