    This was my first and, to date, only A380 flight. The flight was delayed by five hours due to late arrival of the inbound aircraft. As the A380 fleet was small at the time, QF didn't have the option of utilizing idle A380s to operate the flight.

    As this was my first A380 flight, I was obviously in awe. But, it wasn't the most comfortable flight. The recline motion for the seat wasn’t smooth; rather, it reclined in a sudden movement. I hit the guy behind me when I reclined, and the guy in front of me - who was heavy - also hit me when he reclined. I also couldn't figure out QF's footrest design.    Read more
