    June 3 in Mongolia ⛅ 12 °C

Woke up at 7:30am again today. The nights here are freezing, and the bed is basically just a wooden board. The cold water "flow" from the improvised shower is more hypnotizing than it is cleansing, and in the local toilet, you can still see and smell what you had for dinner last month - but hey, nothing my 25 year old body and soul can't handle for a bit!

Our tour guide is incredibly sweet. She’s constantly cooking and serving dinner and breakfast, while refusing any help we offer.

After another long, bumpy drive across off-road tracks - passing plenty of livestock along the way - we finally made it to today's destination: the Gobi Museum of Nature and History.

We received a private tour through the prehistoric times of the dinosaurs and their findings in the very Gobi Desert we are driving through, as well as from the Stone Age to today's clothing, religion, and culture. It's a lot to take in for one afternoon, but it was full of charm and facts.

After this intense study session, we had lunch and went to "Yolyn Am Canyon" to do a two-hour hike before heading to our accommodation for the night! :D
