Skycastles and Daydreams

The nights are getting colder as we head north again. Tonight, I’m going to wear every piece of winter clothing I can find, because last night the freezing cold kept waking me up.

Alright, we didn't do much today because we had to lay some distance behinde us to make sure we reach Ulaanbaatar on time :). We drove for nearly six and a half hours straight from somewhere in the Gobi Desert up north, almost level with Ulaanbaatar, without any big stops. I felt pretty nauseous when I finally got out of the car after that long, bumpy ride... the entire route was off-road!
On the bright side, I had plenty of time to think and daydream while staring at the seemingly endless plains that we crossed.

Because of the weather and our arrival time at the next nomadic accommondation, we couldn't ride horses or see the waterfall today, but we’ll do that tomorrow instead. :D

Honestly, it’s just nice to sit still for a moment, especially after such an awful road trip. :/
So yeah, we’re gonna take it easy tonight, grab some dinner, and explore our new surroundings. :)Read more
