Visited the site of the ancient Mayan city of Chichen Itza. The site was amazing and at one point in time they estimate the city state was over 80K people living in the area. sojournerjapes The main city was walled and the living space for the elite priests, royalty, and warriors lived within the city with the majority of the population living outside of the walls and supporting the city. It is estimate that the population of the city state was nearly 80K.
