Today, my Journey was taking me from Andong to Gyeongju. I wanted to take the bus again, because the train connection was less than ideal, but Kakaomaps failed to mention that only 2 busses were going, and the first was already booked out. So I reserved a seat in the second bus which left at 17:50. I had to wait almost 7 hours for my bus. If the lockers still had a large compartment for me to rent, I would have dumped my luggage and returned to the city again, but they were taken and thus I spent the whole day at the express bus station. Thankfully Korean transport stations are much more convenient and comfortable than German stations, they have enough seats and dining areas to spend the time. The Bus left just as scheduled and thankfully the ride was smooth, it was almost 8pm when I arrived at my Hanok guest house where I showered and then went out again to have a look at the surroundings. That proved to be a great idea because the night was beautiful and there was an incredible hustle and bustle in the streets, it was amazing. The area around me is really cool, with lots of royal tombs and historic sites that I will explore thoroughly tomorrow.

Zum Glück sind koreanische Bahnhöfe viel praktischer und komfortabler als deutsche Bahnhöfe, sie verfügen über genügend Sitz- und Essbereiche zum Verweilen. Der Bus fuhr pünktlich ab und zum Glück verlief die Fahrt reibungslos. Es war fast 20 Uhr, als ich in meinem Hanok-Gästehaus ankam, wo ich duschte und dann wieder hinausging, um mir die Umgebung anzusehen. Das erwies sich als großartige Idee, denn die Nacht war wunderschön und es herrschte ein unglaublicher Trubel auf den Straßen, es war unglaublich.
