    Cape Tribulation

    COOKTOWN - CAPE TRIBULATION

    There are two diffrent ways to get to cooktown.
    First we were choosing the way which was kind of a desert. There was a nice flat street which you had to follow over 100km. Only straight..

    On out way back - we were choosing obviously the wrong way..
    There we go.
    We drove through the rainforest where lots of different grounds were waiting for us.

    - sand ground
    - stone ground
    - water ground

    Some rivers cutting across the 'highway'
    First we went through without problems.
    We had around 4 rivers which we were crossing. But the last one - was nearly a sea !
    Anyway - we thought that we could manage that one aswell.

    See the result - like daddy said "Were you trying to change your car into a submarine ?"

    Paluma Range National Park

    On our way to Magnetic Island:

    We stopped at a wonderful waterfall near the coast.
    It was amazing !!!!! We were so glad that we found that one.
    First you had to walk through a forest around 20 minutes.
    After a while there were some steps downstairs to the water. It was a way over the river made with stones and some bridges with wood like in a fairytale !
    It looked so beautiful !! And it was fun to follow the way up to the lookout where you have seen this giant waterfall !
    On the way down there were the rock-pools.
    Giant stones builded some pools with so fresh water ! Nobody was there & mum and me took a bath 💦
    Can't describe that but it was amazing !!!!!!!    Meer informatie

    St Kilda Pier

    ST KILDA PIER - HOME OF THE LITTLE PENGUINES

    After an exhausting appointment at the dentist & a little shooping walk with mum, we took the tram to St Kilda to visit the penguins.
    Mum enjoyed it & I saw them for the first time so active !
    Don't know what happen buut every time when there are friends or now mum - everything I wish to happen - happen.    Meer informatie

    FUN DAY WITH FAYE AND BILL

    Today I ate the best fish and chips ever !!!
    After eating 3 times really bad fish and chips I've thought that this dish isn't nice - but there are placed where you can have the best !!!!! so yum !
    After lunch Bill & Faye have shown us the little malls in the city.
    Lots of cute cafés and shops - nice looking malls !! In one of them we had coffee and cake.

    Thanks for another very lovely day !

    NUNAWADING - ASHBURTON

    After a lot of trouble with my tooth..
    After so many things in my mind.. & (no results at looking for work)..
    I started to being upset.
    To be honest - I know: I am sensitive. But the big diffrent is:
    -I am without my friends & family.
    -I have to decide what to do & where.
    & only because of those people you starting to love - everything becomes more easier ! You feel better not being by yourself !
    Even if you are stucked.. There is a way which is made for you & everything change.

    So it happened to me.
    Just after the dentist & and feeling better finally !!!!!
    Bill gots a call from Simon, who is a friend from church.
    He has got a contact to a family who are looking for an au pair asap. How amazing is that ? Just after 30 minutes I was sitting at their table for lunch !
    Two lovely girls in the age of 3 and 5 & wonderful parents.
    After 2 more hours - I moved in !!

    So just one day later - I feel like home :)
    My favorite house helper ? - the vacuum cleaner !
    I will fall in love with this job ! Definitly !

    There is a big big thank you !!
    To Simon & Bill who made this job possible for me !! & to my guestfamily !! & everybody else who is looking after me !!!

    ME TIME

    Had an amazing weekend !

    It was never a plan to go to church while I am in Australia.
    But through all the lovely people I have met here - I have changed my mind & followed them by going with them into diffrent churches and sharing their interests.

    Every time was something special !
    & today I have been to such a powerful conference which called 'beautiful woman'.
    Hundred of women came to listen to pastor Russell & Leif Heitland.
    This was something which I have never expected !

    It was like a concert ! All the people were dancing & singing loud !
    A big stage with people who were playing an instrument, people who were dancing with so much energy & the speaker who were giving so much emotions and power !

    THOUGHTS

    There are things happening in life which you can't describe.
    There are things happening which you have never expected.
    Also there are things happening & you can't do anything against it.

    I believe in angels !
    & everybody has got a special one - who is there for you & taking care of you    Meer informatie

    EMERALD - IN THE HILLS

    Sue & Gedion brought me over to the hills to their friends house.
    I know thats not the first time here in Australia but I fell in love again with this dream of house and garden !!!!!
    I was totally amazed of this architecture and everything is grown together.
    It reminds me of my childhood when I was playing outside mixing teas & lying in the mud.
    Okay so we had a lovely dinner & a wonderful bonfire !    Meer informatie

    MORNINGTON - LITTLE TRIP

    A day of dreaming !!
    Really - this part of Melbourne is unbelievable !
    I mean lots of places are unbelievable here but I was completly in trance !
    Looks like a farytale for all the girls who are loving horses and big green properties next to the ocean !
    Lots of people coming over there to have holidays in their holiday house or they are living there on a huge horse farm with white wood fences, adorable horses...

    OSNABRÜCK

    Aaron & Arnold just arrived in Melbourne on Monday !
    We met us in the city & I have shown them the little penguines.
    It was so exciting for me to see them from Osnabrück - great thing !!!!
    We had so much fun & were visiting the Queen Victoria Market where we had two Glühweine !
    & of course they had to see the possums !
