We are living with 4 other girls in a little house. We haven't got neighbours and the next supermarket is 30 min away by feet.
The girls are super nice !! We can talk about everything ! our contact man 'Larry' is the owner of our accomodation. Larry ask the farmer for work and give them to us. He is nice to us every time but is just takling the same as the day before ! it is difficult to describe this person..Läs mer

MARTINS FARM - FAIL

.. Larry was talking about a vine job .. When we arrived at our accomodation he told us the first job would be 'picking garlic'. Without knowing we drove to the farm the next day and picked garlic
I've learned three important things:
1. Garlic is the other sort of onions (Knoblauch)
2. How it looks like when it comes out of the field
3. I would never ever ever pick garlic again !!!
So i've never thought that farm work could be so damn hard !!!!
We really tried it for 3 days but Lea and I were getting from bad to worse more and more.
We already decided to move from Mildura to Adelaide to push ourselves and to see the kangoroo Island - we will see.. What will happen the next days.Läs mer

DISCOVERY HOSTEL MELBOURNE

So I show you how to come to the point:

-our friends are a german couple who bought cigarres in thailand with papers of a tree (no wheed for sure) - - -the taste was like barbecue sauce
-for 10 days we are in this hostel
-we have changed rooms for 3 times and had 4 rooms already
-today the reception did a mistake again.. Buuuuut doesn't matter because we got a free update to a private room
-yesterday... We have sawn an opposum - damn cute

Our lunch was BURGER but selfmade !

GREAT OCEAN ROAD

Today we've sawn a lot of amazing places !!

1. Cape outway - rainforest
- we took a little walk through the many diffrent plants and big big trees - some walks with wood (like a little bridge)
- we drove a few kilometres more and found some koalas near the street. You can't miss it because of many people how are right there & take pictures. But we were at some nice places as well where we've found koalas by our own.
2. Princetown - 12 Apostels
- amazing !!!
3. Port Cambell National Park (near by the 12 Apostels)
- reminds me of the film "Pirates of the Caribean" i felt like i was Elizabeth !!
The water has such a beutifull colour and so clean !
4. Peterborough - London Bridge
- years ago the cliffe was broken. So there was 'born' a new little island wich looks like a bridge. Some people were there at that moment and had to drove by a helicopter which was comming after a while.
5. Gellibrand Lower - Wildlife Park
- we were allowed to go to the kangoroos & wollabis - so damn cute !!! It was fun !!!
6. Glenaire - on the way back to Apollo Bay - Late at the evening there were some wild kangoroos at the road, but they were shy so we can't take a picture.
7. Apollo Bay
- we met two girls and one guy. In the evening we were sitting together and had a lot of fun !

Second night in the car - done !
(It was a nice caravan park) and we've payd just one night, because we were so late at the park that there was nobody in the office.. Later we met the manager in the 'living room' (for all guests there) and he told me the same story as the day before.. and asked me the same questions, so I answered the same
- so we were at the kennet river where were a lot of parrets who were sitting on our heads
- near torquay there was another wild life park with more koalas !!!
- at the end of this day we've tried another caravan park near Melbourne ! ...there was a woman in only white clothes and you were only able to see her eyes.. She had a tent next to our car !! We've seen that there were only white clothes and wood - whatever she was weird ! Afrer that.. Two old guys came over to join us & showed us some videos of him when he was singing : Girls be honest, do you think I am still good ? that was enough to say bye !!!! So we get our money for the rent back & were searching for a hostel in Melbourne. Best decision this day !!! so hopfully no dreams about theese crazy people !Läs mer

We are two real cooker ! In our 6 bed female dorm is living a woman for 3 months - the girl, who is sleeping over me told us that the crazy woman wanted to take our clothes in the bin !! Just because we hanged them up at our beds. - it's against the house rules - where should we hang our clothes up than ?

OFF TO SYDNEY - WITH FAYE & BILL

The last days in Melbourne were quit nice because we've met a lot of nice new people !
We planed a trip to Sydney that we can continue our journey !!
Lea got an email from our journey friend Bill, who we've met at our plane from Frankfurt to Singapur. Bill and his wife want to go to Sydney to their childs at the next morning. We've read the message a few hours ago and were hurried up to calling him.
They picked us up from our hostel & now we are on the road.
So nice people !!!! Love them ! So happy to met them !!! 9 hours trip.
