Shamrock Gold Mine

Took a 1k walk off the track to get to an old goldmine, the Shamrock. Good chance their was Irishmen there. LOL.
Late 1850’s and a whole town developed here over it. By the turn of the century it was all but over and the entire Cania Gorge Valley returned to a grazing homestead.
The family donated the entire station to the National Parks in 1989.Weiterlesen
