Nevada

The most amazing thing is realizing that so much of the US is so high above sea level.

Once you leave the coastal plains you climb up over the mountains to about 6,500 ft. Down the other side onto Nevada plateau, only to realize nearly all of Nevada is about 4,300 ft above sea level.

You sit in the train watching the wild west go by only to discover how high it is. Just amazing.Leggi altro
