Arriving at Avalanche Lake, we were greeted with an idyllic view of these glacial meltwaters.
In addition to views of the landscape, we also saw Argillite rocks, in shades of red and green.
To start off our last day at Glacier we hiked the Avalanche Lake Trail. Passing along cascades from the Lake, the Trail also offers views of the local landscape.

A small reservoir collects meltwater, while wildlife leaps and flits along the road.
Several waterfalls and cascades can be seen from the Road.
Views from the road included nearby mountain peaks.
