As our tour continued, we traveled on the Going-to-the-Sun Road. From the road we had several views of the various mountain peaks that run through the Park.

From the Going-to-the-Sun Road we hiked on the Trail of the Cedars. Here, we walked through the Glacier National Park Rainforest, which includes Western Red Cedars, Western Hemlock, and Skunk Cabbage.
Avalanche Gorge

The Trail of the Cedars crosses over Avalanche Gorge and Avalanche Cascades. These waters originate from Avalanche Lake, which receives meltwater from Sperry Glacier.

Within Waterton Lakes is the Village of Waterton. Here, we hiked along the Townsite Loop Trail, which offered views of Chutes Cameron Falls, Upper Waterton Lake and nearby mountain peaks.
