Longues-sur-Mer Gun Battery, Normandy

Batterie Allemande de Longues-sur-Mer is a well-preserved World War II German coastal battery located in Normandy, France. Located between Omaha and Gold Beach, it features four casemates housing formidable 150mm naval guns, offering a unique glimpse into the wartime history and defensive strategies employed during the D-Day landings in 1944.

The Overlord Full-Day Tour of Omaha & Utah Beach: The small group tour explores sectors where the American V Corps and VII Corps landed at Omaha and Utah beaches. It traces the paths of the brave 1st, 29th, and 4th American Infantry Divisions. Additionally, the tour traces the misplaced drop zones of the 82nd and 101st Airborne Units that landed during the early hours of the D-Day Invasion on June 6, 1944.
