Restaurant Macola, Korenica Croatia

While en route to Plitvice National Park, my friends and I enjoyed a delightful lunch at Restaurant Macola. The food was outstanding, generously portioned, and reasonably priced. The chef, who saw us looking through the window at the open pit fire grill, invited us to the back to take a closer look at the gigantic rotisserie grill and take pictures of the grilling process. Katerina, our waitress, provided excellent service, enhancing our dining experience. There’s even a display section of stuffed bears and deer indoors. Reviews on Tripadvisor were mixed with people horrified by the stuffed animal display, and some people disliked the food they ordered.
