Our close-knit group embarked on an enjoyable weekend journey, exploring Seacrest Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, Rosemary Beach, and Panama City Beach, Florida.

Beginning at Seacrest Beach, we strolled through soft, powdery sands and dipped our toes into emerald waters, savoring the breathtaking sunsets that painted the horizon with golden hues.

As evening descended, we set out on a picturesque drive along Scenic Highway 30A, treating ourselves to coastal panoramas and the charm of unique architecture. The evening ended with a delicious meal at the Goatfeathers Restaurant.

The next day, we spent the morning on the beach and then visited Panama City Beach and Rosemary Beach, a charming coastal enclave with European flair.

I have been to many seafood restaurants over the years and the Goatfeathers Seafood Market and Restaurant in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, is definitely one of the best. The restaurant emphasizes fresh locally sourced offerings procured directly from their seafood market store located below the restaurant. While the exterior and interior sport a slightly dated feel, it's the warm and knowledgeable staff along with the extensive seafood menu truly shine. From fresh raw or baked oysters to soft-shell crab, crab cakes, grilled grouper, and succulent shrimp, Goatfeathers serves up outstanding dishes that are nothing short of delightful. Our dinner was so exceptional that we found ourselves returning the following day for lunch, and the experience proved equally gratifying. In a sea of restaurant options, Goatfeathers truly stands as a memorable dining experience.Read more
