That's right, I'm off the trail, got a rental car and am wandering around the country for a while. Didn't want to rush home, so I decided to drive. It has been decided that I'll go a northerly route toward Minnesota and the Great Lakes. Might bump into Lake Michigan and go South for a while. I'll try to avoid big cities. Could be interesting.
I just read my last post. The reason I got off the trail is because my right shoulder is torched. Chronic problem that flared up and was just wearing me down. I got 175 miles done and I got to see what the Rockies we're like to hike . I'm good.Read more
