Hualien

Ich habe Hualien als Basis für meinen Taroko Nationalpark Ausflug genutzt. Abgesehen davon dass leider das Hotel sehr hellhörig war und ich mit Oropax schlafen musste, war der Aufenthalt sehr schön. Die Leute sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit, ich habe Tipps bekommen wo ich hinfahren soll und wo nicht. Allein der Tipp, für Taroko ein Moped zu mieten anstatt mit dem Bus zu fahren war Gold wert.

I used Hualien as a base for my Taroko National Park trip. Apart from the fact that unfortunately the hotel was very poorly soundproofed and I had to sleep with earplugs, the stay was very enjoyable. The people are very nice and helpful, I got tips on where to go and where not. The tip to rent a moped for Taroko instead of taking the bus was worth its weight in gold.
