Har Paw Villa & Hell's Museum

Der Haw Par Park, vormals Tiger Balm Park (da die Familie den Tiger Balm erfunden hat), ist voll mit Figuren aus der chinesischen Folklore und Mythologie (und ein par Ausreißer wie die Freiheitsstatue), und mit Tieren. Auch meine Lieblingsfiguren aus "Journey to the West", Pigsy und Monkey God sind dabei. Teilweise ist es etwas grotesk, aber es gibt wirklich viel zu sehen und die Liebe zum Detail ist entzückend.

Im Hell's Museum kann man Interessantes aus allen möglichen Kulturen zum Thema Tod und Wiedergeburt lernen und sich dann auch selbst in die Hölle wagen. Die
lebhaften Darstellungen der „Zehn Gerichte der Hölle“ zeigen was passiert, wenn man die traditionellen chinesischen Moralvorstellungen im Leben nicht einhält.

Haw Par Villa (Park), formerly Tiger Balm Park (since the family invented Tiger Balm), is filled with characters from Chinese folklore and mythology (and a few outsiders like the Statue of Liberty), and animals. There are also my favorite characters from "Journey to the West", Pigsy and Monkey God. It's a bit grotesque, but there's really a lot to see and the attention to detail is delightful.

At Hell's Museum you can learn interesting facts about death and rebirth from all sorts of cultures and then venture into Hell yourself. The
vivid depictions of the "Ten Judgments of Hell" show what happens when you don't follow traditional Chinese morals in life.Read more
