Busselton region

We had yet another farewell dinner with Mon & Kaine with quite a few wines, a late check out from Woodlands the next day and camp set up in the outskirts of Bunbury - at Belvidere bush camp, in the dark. Here the forest met the sea on one side and an estuary on other. We spotted lots of roos, ring necks and watched a big personality kookaburra perform.

The next 4 nights we spent in Busselton. Ben, Kaitlyn and the kiddos arrived the day after us and we explored the area together. We had fun teaching them canasta, tasting local mead, gin, chocolate and cheese; running around a house of visual illusions and kids playing with shells, rocks and ducks and enjoying the indoor heated swimming pool.
