Taking the Mattupetty route

After checking in, freshening up, and having breakfast, we began exploring our options for a day tour. In Munnar, you’ll find double-decker tourist buses running daily, but autos are also a popular and flexible option. The sightseeing routes are divided into four directions — Coimbatore, Thekkady, Kochi, and Mattupetty.

We opted for the Mattupetty route with a private auto for ₹1300. It covered around 10 popular tourist spots, from echo points to lake views, tea gardens, and dam sites. The driver patiently waited at each stop, and by evening, dropped us right at our hotel.Baca selengkapnya
