When Plans Shift

Upon reaching Munnar, I started calling up the local bike rental shops. While there are a few in town, availability can be a challenge — especially during long weekends. As expected, none were available. Thankfully, I had anticipated this and was ready with a backup plan: auto-rickshaws. They’re easy to find and fairly reliable for getting around the town and nearby spots.

We had a stay pre-booked a bit outside the main town, around 15 km away. But considering the lack of transportation, it would’ve been inconvenient. Since we had a free cancellation option, we canceled that booking.

Instead, we explored the town on foot and found a hotel right in the center. It turned out to be a smart move, making everything more accessible for the day ahead.Baca lagi
