Trip to Uyuni, Cañon Anaconda, S.Agustin

Der Canyon Anaconda heisst so, weil sich der Fluß darin wie eine Schlange entlangwindet. Keine Absperrungen, nix, wer nicht aufpasst, fällt tief. Aber man hat eine tolle Sicht. Von dort geht es weiter zum lebensfrohen Städtchen San Agustin. Wir essen Mittag in der Versammlungshalle der Gemeine, direkt über eine Tankstelle/Autowerkstatt gelegen. Hier bietet man auch Zimmer an. Ich bin froh, dass wir nicht hier schlafen. Der Saal ist noch für Weihnachten geschmückt. Man feiert hier wohl 2x im Jahr, deswegen wird es gar nicht erst abgenommen. Aber das Essen ist gut.

The Canyon Anaconda is so named because the river meanders along it like a snake. No barriers, nothing, if you're not careful, you'll fall down. But you have a great view. From there we continue to the lively town of San Agustin. We eat lunch in the church meeting hall, located just above a gas station/auto repair shop. Rooms are also offered here. I'm glad we don't sleep here. The hall is still decorated for Christmas. They celebrate here probably twice a year, which is why it is not even accepted. But the food is good. Czytaj więcej
