Inca Trail, Fourth Day, Afternoon II

Die Sicht vom Huayna Picchu ist toll, und ich völlig fertig. Beim Abstieg stoss ich mir in einer dunklen Höhle noch den Kopf. Brummmm. Aber ich komm ohne zu stolpern runter vom Berg. Wir nehmen den Bus die Serpentinen runter nach Aguas Caliente, dem Ort am Fusse der Berge. Dort gibt es ein leckeres Mittagessen und danach geht’s zum Zug der Perurail zurück nach Ollantaytambo. Der Zug fährt erst mal ein paar mal im Bahnhof rein und raus, dann hat er das richtige Gleis gefunden. In Ollantaytambo wechseln wir in den Bus und nach zwei Stunden werde ich wieder am Hotel abgesetzt. Hundemüde, aber happy.

The view from Huayna Picchu is great … and I'm exhausted. On the descent I hit my head in a dark cave - hummm. But I can get down the mountain without stumbling. We take the bus down the serpentines to Aguas Caliente, the little town at the foot of the mountains. There I have a delicious lunch and then we boarded the Perurail train back to Ollantaytambo. The train first drives in and out of the station a few times, then it has found the right track. In Ollantaytambo we change to the bus and after two hours I am dropped off at the hotel again.
