Am späteren Vormittag ging es nochmals auf eine Tour. Dieses Mal gabs Kaimane, Affen und diesen lustigen Vogel Jacana, der auf sehr grossem Fuße lebt. Aber damit kann er quasi auf Entengrütze laufen, siehe Video. Sehr beeindruckend. Und die Weibchen sind emanzipiert. Sie legt die Eier, Brüten und Aufziehen übernimmt das Männchen. Wenn das nicht spurt, wird es ausgewechselt gegen ein anderes.

Later in the morning we went on another tour. This time there were caimans, monkeys and this funny bird Jacana that lives on very large feet. But with them it can walk on duckweed, see video. Very impressive. And the females are emancipated. She lays the eggs, and the male takes care of the incubation and rearing. If that doesn't work, it's swapped out for another. Czytaj więcej
