Costa Rica, Tortuguero, Laguna Lodge

Laguna Lodge ist ein toller Ort, mit viel Garten zwischen Fluss und Meer. Die Bungalows sind riesig, aber man teilt sie nur mit ein paar kleinen Geckos 🦎 und anderem Insektenzeug. Gratis kommt die tägliche, nächtliche und dazwischen liegende Geräuschkulisse der hier lebenden Tiere. Vor allem die Vögel schenken sich hier nix. Will sagen, die Faultiere werden komplett übertönt… Essen ist lokal und sehr gut und in der Übernachtung inkludiert, Getränke hingegangen nicht. Da kostete die Sprite 6 Euro und die kleine Glasche Bier 5,20. Da war ein Cocktail mit nur 7 Euro fast ein Schnäppchen. Aber logisch, muss ja alles erst per Boot hergebracht werden. Tat der guten Stimmung keinen Abbruch. Man kommt hier eh nicht her zum Abfeiern.
Außerdem waren Saft und Wasser gratis.

Laguna Lodge is a great place with a huge garden between the river and the sea. The bungalows are spacious, and you only share them with a few small geckos 🦎 and other bug stuff. The daily, nocturnal and in-between sounds of the animals living here come free of charge. Especially the birds give everything here. Will say, the sloths are completely drowned out... Food is local and very good and included in the overnight stay, drinks are not included. A soft drink costs 6 euros and the small glass of beer 5.20. A cocktail for only 7 euros quickly became a bargain. But logically, everything has to be brought here by boat first. Didn't spoil the good mood. You don't come here to party.
