Cancun, Isla Mujeres

Am letzten Tag ging es noch auf zwei Inseln. Die Isla Mujeres (Fraueninsel) ist quasi die Stadtinsel von Cancun. Gut angeschlossen mit Fähre und diversen anderen Wassergefährten, ist man relativ schnell drüben. Die Insel ist bestückt mit Souvenirstrassen und Hotels etc., sprich sie ist sehr touristisch - aber trotzdem nicht überlaufen, wie ihr sehen könnt. Das Wasser ist warm und glasklar mit schneeweissem Sand. Obwohl ich den Ausdruck „Schnee“ im Zusammenhang mit den Temperaturen eigentlich nicht verwenden kann. 🫠 Danach machten wir noch einen Schnorchelstopp, aber naja… unter Wasser muss ich noch üben mit der Kamera. Aber interessante graphische Formen sind dabei rausgekommen! 🤣

On the last day I went to two islands. The first one, Isla Mujeres (Woman's Island) is basically Cancun's city island. Well connected by ferry and various other kind of boats, you can get there relatively quickly. The island is lined with souvenir streets and hotels etc., ergo it is very touristy - but still not overcrowded, as you can see. The water is warm and crystal clear with snow-white sand. Although I can't really use the term "snow" in connection with those temperatures there. 🫠 Afterwards we made a stop for snorkeling, but well... I still have to practice with the camera under water.
