New York, MOMA I

Im Wolkenbruch ging es zum Museum für Moderne Kunst. Hilft ja nichts, musste zu einer bestimmten Uhrzeit da sein. Vorteil: Leere Bürgersteige, weil sich alle irgendwo untergestellt hatten. Nachteil: triefend nasse Socken und Schuhe. Und das blieben sie auch für die nächsten Stunden. Danke.
Das Museum: Man kann sich super innerhalb der einzelnen Etagen verlaufen. Habe es ausprobiert. Ausstellungen gehen über die komplette Palette, je nachdem, was die einzelnen Gönner so hergegeben haben, bzw. gesammelt haben. Aber das machte das Ganze sehr abwechslungsreich. Zum Glück nicht allzu viele Kunstwerke, wo du davor stehst und dich fragst, was das soll. Mit Freude habe ich mir immer die Kindererklärungstexte durchgelesen. 🤪 Ich lade hier mehrere Bilder aus dem MOMA hoch, weil ich weiss, dass das etliche von euch interessiert.

In the cloudburst I went to the Museum of Modern Art. Couldn’t wait, had to be there at a certain time. Advantage: Empty sidewalks because everyone had sheltered somewhere. Disadvantage: soaking wet socks and shoes. And they stayed that way for the next few hours. Thanks.
The museum: You can easily get lost within the individual floors. Tried it. Exhibitions cover the entire range, depending on what the individual patrons have given away or collected. But that made the whole thing very varied. Luckily not too many works of art where you stand in front of it and wonder what it's all about.
