Im Dorf werden Stoffe hergestellt. Einmal für ihre eigene Tracht und dann natürlich für Touristensachen (Kissen, Haarbänder, Schals, Tischläufer, etc.). Indigo herrscht vor und färbt die Hände gleich mit. Weiter unten sind Reisfelder, die mit grossen Wasserrädern bewässert werden. Es ächzt und stöhnt, aber es funktioniert. Und das offensichtlich schon dehr lange.
