Thailand, Summary

Thailand. Das Ziel so vieler Deutscher. Jetzt hab ich es auch mal kurz gesehen. Einen Monat war ich hier, länger als in einem anderen Land auf der Reise. Es ist sehr schön, sehr warm, sehr bunt, teils sehr geruchsintensiv, sehr schwül, meist preiswert. Nette Leute, keine Frage. Die Inseln scheinen zu leben von Moped-Verleih, Yoga, Marihuana (legal), 7-Eleven und Moskitos. Das Festland von Tempeln, Märkten, Massagen und Bier. Ich habe Leute getroffen, die hier seit 17 Jahren hinkommen zum Urlaub machen. Ich kenne Leute, die hierher gezogen sind. Und ich habe Leute kennengelernt, die nach 4 Tagen Aufenthalt hierher ziehen wollen. Das geht mir nicht so. Die Hitze kombiniert mit der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit ist einfach für mich nicht so ein Traum. Und die depperten Insel-Moskitos 🦟, auf die ich doch heftig, fast allergisch reagiert habe, werden mir auch nicht fehlen. Aber wiederkommen werd ich wohl trotzdem irgendwann.

Thailand. The goal of so many Germans. Now I've seen it briefly. I was here for a month, longer than I had stayed in any other country during this travel. It is very beautiful, very warm, very colorful, sometimes very smelly, very humid, mostly inexpensive. Nice people, no question about this fact. The islands seem to thrive on moped rentals, yoga, marijuana (legal), 7-Eleven and mosquitoes. The mainland of temples, markets, massages and beer. I met people who have been coming here for vacation for 17 years. I know people who have moved here. And I have met people who seriously want to move here after spending here 4 days. I don't feel that way. The heat combined with the high humidity is just not a dream for me. And I won't miss the stupid island mosquitoes 🦟, to which I reacted violently, almost allergically. But I'll probably still come back at some point.Leer más
