    The alarm goes at 10:40 after 2 hours of sleep, Richard’s plane should be landing in Ilulissat right now. For him to get to the harbor should take about the same time as it takes us to have coffee and get into the harbor with the dinghy. Well, turns out in Ilulissat it is very quick to disembark and get to town. Richard is waiting fur us.

    After Richard gets settled on board we head out to town and walk up to the crest to catch a view of the Isfjord, the birth place of all the ice we encountered in our approach. Hard to believe that all this ice flows out of here. Upstream of the fjord, Greenland’s ice sheet reaches the sea directly and for that reason calves huge, spectacular bergs.

    We pass by a restaurant on the way back, go aboard and after some housholding drop to bed for a 10-hour sleep.
