It was indeed too good for the sun and the light air to keep up all day…
After a nice start this morning, the wind decreased for the first time around noon, and gradually until it completely vanished around about 6pm. After trying to wait for it a while, I was looking for an alternative stop… I kinda gave up, took the sails down and started the engine… The closest inlet where I hope to throw the anchor is still 8 nm away, so I've to run on the engine for a while …

Other than that, the sun was shining for a while, but it got pretty covered and started raining around 5pm…

C'était effectivement trop bon pour que le soleil et le vent durent toute la journée…
Après un début plutôt sympa ce matin, le vent a réduit une première fois vers midi, et a graduellement ralenti jusqu'à disparaître complètement vers 18 h. Après avoir attendu pendant que je cherchais sur la carte un endroit pour passer la nuit, j'ai plus ou moins abandonné et j'ai affalé les voiles, lancé le moteur et en avant…
La zone où je projette de m'ancrer pour la nuit est encore à huit miles nautiques, je vais être au moteur un moment…

Sinon, le soleil était de la partie pour un bon moment, mais le temps s'est couvert et la pluie est arrivée vers 17 h…Read more
