The Adventure Begins

By car, by plane, by ferry!
It was a bit convoluted getting us both to The Rock but we did it.

When we were planning this trip we realized that there were few to none rental cars to be had. 😳 Kevin made the true sacrifice to make sure we could explore Newfoundland at our own pace and our own itinerary. ❤️

Poor Kevin spent so many hours in the car - first taking me to the airport to catch my early morning flight, then back home (to cut the grass) and finally as he hit the road the afternoon of the 16th after his medical appointment.
My flight was smooth and uneventful and I landed mid afternoon on the 16th, just about the time Kev was hitting the road for his 17 hour drive!
Bless his heart for making that drive, through the pouring rain, through the night and making it with time to spare for his ferry on the 17th - what a way to spend this birthday! Thankfully he had a cabin and was able to get a good nights sleep and caught an amazing sunrise.Read more
