Out and about - part 1

We woke to rain and thunderstorms, the forecast for all of today.

Breakfast at the hotel was leisurely, no hurry to go outside. The temptation to eat too many pastries a real danger. I started well, natural yogurt with seeds, some cheese with ham and fresh pineapple, a slice of good brown sourdough with butter and jam, juice, coffee …. Then three tiny pastries. In fairness we didn’t eat dinner last night, too tired to go out in the rain, so a cup of tea and an early night.

The plan for today is to try as many indoor venues as possible. There is an indoor market just up the road which is a must see apparently. We have a tourist map and umbrellas.
