Dog Dome and Descent

I hardly took any pictures of the "camp". I don't know - but a lot of this leaves me pretty cold. I can't imagine I would have liked many of these elitist types. Too waspy.
Swimming in Tahoe

The lake water was great! The haze from the fire had moved in by this time (I could see stars when we arrived the night before) so the views were somewhat obscured - but it wax great to have a swim.En savoir plus

Old Train Tunnels

There were some breaks in the tunnels and the concrete tunnels had light slits.

We kept going through the tunnels (about 2 miles worth). We had to scramble a few times through washouts, and Franklin impressed us with a great climb up to the roof!

We walked out of the other end of the tunnels and around to a nice hike up over the mountain.
Dad misses the entrance

We came down from the mountain on the outside of the tunnel and had to bushwhack across a ledge to find an opening to get back.
