• Hanuman Temple - the monkey temple

    Have you ever held a monkey? Eric and I can now say we have. This temple was established because a statue of the Monkey god Hanuman was found there and there was water coming out of the hillside considered to be Ganges water and blessed by priests. The monkeys liked the place and decided to stay. There are pools for women, men and monkeys to bath in and be blessed. A priest in charge of feeding the monkeys took us on a tour and coached us on how to feed the monkeys. It was an amazing experience.Read more
