Construction of this palace began in 1727, and it is still a residence for the royal family. In fact, for an extra $50US each we could have seen more of the personal residence. But we stuck to the normal museum area, a lot of which did not allow photography. They had photos of official visitors like British royalty up until fairly recent times.Read more

TravelerWe haven’t figured it out for sure, but it is a landscape/street tree that we’ve seen all over here. Not usually trimmed like this though!
