This is how hay is transported on the highway in this part of India. When we saw it transported further south earlier on our trip, the trucks were piled high but not covered. Not sure about theBaca lagi
PengembaraSo weird! Hay piles were an old way to store hay in fields and barns. Hay balers have replaced that method for easier/compacter storage.
PengembaraAnd early on in our trip in the southern region I remember seeing the large hay stacks in fields and thinking of Monet! I’d never seen that style in real life. Used to the style in the US!

PengembaraGrowing up in VT my mom's Dad made something similar out of the carcass of an old model t to transport hay bales from the field. They call it the doodle bug. My mom learned to drive on it.
