Along The Riverfront To Sacavem.

I left the steps of the cathederal at 7:30 this morning, and took my first steps. At first I walked thru some industrial areas, but then turned into a lovely riverside walk. I had to go on and off the path due to some areas that were closed off due to construction. To Sacavem is only 12.5 km today, but was probably more like 15 because of the detours. This will make the next days walk to Vila Franca de Xira 22.8 km's more bearable. Otherwise having to do 36 km the first day would have been too much.
